Signature Classes

Introducing two signature classes developed by and exclusive to Embody

Streamline Body Sculpting™ is Embody’s signature class. Using a combination of equipment such as light dumb bells, resistance bands, Pilates equipment, body weight exercises and TRX straps, it is the ultimate body shaping workout. This class encompasses principles from dancers and gymnasts, as well as using the best exercises that are used to sculpt the bodies of fashion and fitness models, while simultaneously incorporating Pilates principles. The workout will leave you feeling long, limber, flexible, toned, slender, strong and sculpted, with no risk of gaining muscle bulk.

Cocoon Meditation™ is Embody’s ultimate mind-clearing session. Relax, unwind, unplug and recharge as you forget the world and become one with your thoughts in the blissful serenity of an anti-gravity silk. You will actually feel like a silkworm in a cocoon as you surrender within the weightlessness of the hammock as you undertake a regenerative, restorative meditation session where you will calm your mind, and find inner peace and balance.


A harmonising system of development for the body, mind, and spirit. The continued practice of yoga at Embody will lead you to a sense of peace and well-being, and also a feeling of being at one with the environment. The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible, and it also improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems. Yoga brings about emotional stability and clarity of mind. Think of this practice as being the means and tools to realign and rebalance your vehicle (body) on a regular basis. Embody offers various forms of yoga to suit your needs.

Anti-Gravity Yoga / Aerial Yoga
A new type of yoga which combines traditional yoga poses, Pilates, and dance moves with the use of a silk that hangs from the ceiling. Most classes have an element of inversion (hanging upside-down) which has wonderful benefits in relation to reducing spin decompression and improving blood circulation. The silk actually assists in facilitating bending and stretching of the entire body throughout the class. Yoga in general promotes physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual health. On top of all this, anti-gravity classes are fun!

Pilates will transform the way your body looks, feels and performs. Developing a solid and strong core is the essence of the Pilates technique. Core stability exercises will improve your pelvic floor, flatten and tone your abdomen and strengthen the muscles that support your back. A strong core enables you to train all the other muscles in your body more effectively. The blend of strength and flexibility training improves posture, reduces stress and creates long, lean muscles without bulking up. Pilates takes a balanced approach so that no muscle group is overworked and the body moves as an efficient, holistic system in sport and daily activity. Embody offers both Matwork and Reformer Pilates class options.

BARRE fuses elements of pilates, yoga and ballet to give you lean, sculpted muscles without the impact and injuries that dancers endure. Barre is a total body workout that will lengthen as well as strengthen your muscles, improving posture, core strength and flexibility. Regular barre workouts will trim and tone the butt, thighs and legs and you will achieve sculpted arms without developing bulk. Barre is full of variety. As well as standing exercises using the ballet barre you may use light weights, bands or a ball. Other elements are mat floor work to really target the core and stretching to improve your flexibility and promote easy, graceful movement. Your instructor may incorporate short bursts of cardio sequences into the class. This interval training is proven to increase cardio fitness and help you to burn body fat. For a supple, fit and balanced body, head to the barre!

Barre/Pilates These combination classes showcase the best of both Barre and Pilates classes. Our combination classes are designed to add variety to your exercise regime and ensure that no muscle is neglected in the pursuit of optimal health and improving your body shape.

Meditation One of the most natural and rewarding of all human activities. It brings about balance and rest, and promotes a sense of inner peace. Through the meditation classes on offer at Embody you will develop calmness and clarity of mind, increase your power of concentration, and experience a sense of rejuvenation
by reducing stress and learning powerful breathing techniques.

TRX TRX classes are one of the best ways to tone your body. Using straps that are suspended from the ceiling you will undertake a full body workout whilst activating your core muscles every step of the way. All classes work through a series of structured exercises working in time-based intervals. TRX classes are truly suitable for all fitness levels as exercises can all be tailored to your own personal needs.

TRX/Pilates A combination class offering the benefits of both Pilates classes and TRX classes within
the same session. In these sessions you will strengthen, lengthen and tone your body with a focus on flexibility and posture, leaving the class feeling lean, firm, and supple.

Yoga/Meditation Yoga/Meditation classes are structured to encourage a sense of mental and physical wellbeing by working the muscles and relaxing the mind.

Tai Chi Often described as “meditation in motion” and using a system of slow, smooth body movements to achieve a state or relaxation of both body and mind. It is a system of physical exercise used to improve and maintain physical health and mental relaxation while simultaneously strengthening the cardiovascular and immune systems.


Kettlebell classes are a form of resistance training which use many muscle groups in your body simultaneously. Kettlebell classes are a form of “metabolic resistance training”, or “cardio strength training” where your heart rate is elevated while lifting a light to medium load. Kettlebell exercises require full integration of all muscle groups and require a great deal of core stabilisation. They are a very effective way to increase fitness, strength, endurance, and burn fat.
